Quiet luxury has been having a moment for quite some time now.

Although, if we’re being honest, the moment has lasted long enough to qualify as a small era.

We’ve seen the beige coats. The cashmere. The oversized sunglasses. The discreetly expensive handbags. The endless social posts explaining how to look wealthy without actually mentioning the word wealthy.

And somewhere along the way, quiet luxury became rather loud.

So let’s take a step back.

Because I don’t think quiet luxury is really about looking expensive.

It’s about looking considered.

And there is a difference.
